Chief Brand Officer, Epicenter Memphis
As Chief Brand Officer for Epicenter, the Memphis region’s nonprofit entrepreneurship hub, Jessica Taveau drives external brand and communications strategy and execution for the organization, including marketing initiatives, stakeholder engagement, media relations, digital presence, and events. She also develops high-profile executive communications, presentations, and messaging for Epicenter’s president and CEO, and manages and develops relationships with a wide array of economic development, philanthropic, government, corporate, and academic partners.
Prior to joining Epicenter, she served as Director of Communications for Memphis Bioworks Foundation, a life sciences startup incubation organization, and the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas. She has also held public relations account service positions at several marketing communications agencies in Dallas and Kansas City, Missouri. Jessica graduated with a B.A. in communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is a graduate of the New Memphis Institute Fellows Program and has served as a volunteer counselor and staff member at American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State (Tennessee) since 1996.
